The decision to start academic session 2012-13 of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Arabi- Farsi University in November was taken at the executive council meeting held on Friday, an official announcement said.
The Vice -Chancellor Dr. Anis Ansari told that, a total of 74 posts have been sanctioned by the government which include 10 professors, 20 associate professors and 44 assistant professors. 50% of the positions are expected to be filled before the start of the session in November 2012. the university has requested the state government of UP to make a provision of Rs 25 crore for the development of the university in its annual budget.
The university is aimed at promoting Urdu, Arabic and Farsi and is working in this direction.
