The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education has declared that the board will award 7 grace marks in lieu of the mistakes in the question to those who attempted it.
The Education Board has been providing multiple sets of question papers since past 7 years to prevent exam malpractices. Accordingly the paper conducted on Saturday of English language was made available in four sets namely – A, B, C and D. Of the four sets, A and B had mistakes in question number 5.
The Board Chairman, Sarjerao Jadhav scrutinised the paper sets after getting the complaints and made the announcement to protect the interest of the students who attempted the question.
