Governor of HP, Urmila Singh, announced starting a course on archaeology, which will help preserve the civilization of this hill state. She was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the 43rd foundation day function of the university on Sunday.
“Work is in progress for starting a course in archaeology, which would go a long way in preserving the remnants of historic civilization and memorials of this beautiful hill state,” she said. The university may also start a professional course for tourist guides. This will help strengthen the tourism in the state.
The proposed courses would be employment oriented, which will benefit the youth from this region.
