Following the practice of giving the responsibility of holding CAT examination to different IIM on rotation basis, a meeting of IIM directors held recently decided to hand the task for conducting CAT 2013 to IIM-Indore, informed N Ravichandran, Director at IIM-Indore.
He further informed that this would be for the first time IIM-Indore would be conducting CAT. CAT 2012 was conducted by IIM-Kozikode.
IIM directors also discussed on the technical glitches that were faced in CAT 2012 to be removed from CAT 2013 so that the prestigious entrance exam for premium management schools of the country passes on smoothly. The pattern of the exam has been decided to be same as CAT 2012.
IIM will publish the notification for the CAT 2013 exam in September 2013.
