The IITB-Monash Research Academy is based the Mumbai, India. The academy is a result of tie up between Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Monash University the two global leaders in the field of applied science, engineering and technology. For promoting engineering researches the IITB-Monash offers IITB Research Academy Scholarships.
The research targets interests of world class enterprises based in Australia and India. Anyone who possesses requisite qualification to do PhD can apply for IITB-Monash Research Academy Scholarship program. There is no age for making application and further joining Ph.D classes.
Qualification in GRE/GATE/IELTS/TOEFL is a plus however not must to apply for IITB-Monash Research Academy Scholarship. Proficiency in English language is a must. This is assessed on the basis of your language of instruction, the manner in which you respond to specific questions asked of you in the Form-A and also your responses during your face-to-face interview.

Who Can Apply For IITB-Monash Research Academy Scholarship?
Students who are in the final year of BTech, MTech, ME or MSc. The program is open to all candidates with a first class Masters degree in Engineering or Science from a reputed university or a Bachelors/Masters degree (with a high GPA) from the IIT’s, NIT’s or BITS.

Selection Process For IITB-Monash Research Academy Scholarship
The short listed candidates shall be called for Interview to IIT Bombay for Interview on the basis of which final selection should be made. The travel expenses should be reimbursed given you submits supporting tickets of train and bus travel. 2nd class train fire and accommodation should be provided for attending Interview.
