Kerala University has announced to be conducting a refresher course for faculties on nano science from January 3 through 23, 2013. The course will be conducted by the Academic Staff College of the Kerala University.
Faculties of physics, chemistry, optoelectronics, material science and mechanical and electronics engineering can apply for the course.
The Academic Staff College in the University of Kerala was instituted in 1987. The ASC now functions in the Golden Jubilee Building at Kariavattom with core – Academic Staff Consisting of a Professor who is also the Director and non-Academic Staff consisting of an Administrative Officer and a team of staff.
UGC-Consortium for Educational Communication has provided Edusat facility to Academic Staff College. Many teachers from different Departments and the participants of Refresher Courses / Orientation Programmes use this facility.
