Stanford Graduate School of Business, a leading business school in the world, is now accepting applications for its new part-time, nine-week certificate program in innovation, to be offered in Bangalore from August 10 to October 12, 2013.
Identified by the name, Stanford Ignite Program Bangalore In Innovation, is designed to deliver the same highly personal and innovation instruction that executives and students at Stanford experience, stated the release. Participants will learn core business skills and experience working in a team to evaluate and develop ideas into a business plan. Stanford Ignite is appropriate for both, individuals who wish to bring innovation and entrepreneurial thinking to their current role and those who are planning to start a new venture.
Stanford Ignite classes are taught by the same Stanford Graduate School of Business Faculty who teach their MBA program. Prominent executives and corporate, venture, and angel investors participate as guest speakers, expert panelists and business mentors to provide candid feedback on team projects. Academic content will be taught through a combination of in-person instruction as well as live sessions delivered by distance learning technology.
Currently enrolled students in a master’s, Ph D, M D, or post-doctoral programs studying non-business fields or professionals with a minimum of a bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree from a regionally accredited institution are eligible to register for the program. Advanced degrees are preferred.
The classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:00-10:00pm (dinner included), most Saturdays from 9:00am-4:00pm (lunch included), and additional meetings as needed for project work.
Offers of admission will be made on a rolling basis. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all materials as soon as possible. To be considered for admission, a complete application will contain the following:

- Two letters of recommendation
Applications will not be accepted after the May 15, 2013 application deadline. The course fees is $3850.00.
