University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) in Karnataka (India) has launched a new 4-year BTech program in food technology from this academic year. The capacity of the course is 30.
The four-year course will train students in food processing and technology, engineering, and industrial microbiology, food science and nutrition, food trade and business management.
The course has been launched to meet the requirement of the ever booming food industry in the country. The students graduating from this program will find plenty of job opportunities as technicians, lab analysts, quality executive, quality manager, R&D manager in the food industry.
There only one other college at Hassan which has been offering this program.
