Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared results of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination which was held on 26 May. About 16,000 candidates have been declared qualified, who have now been advised by the UPSC to apply for Civil Services (Mains) Exam. The candidates may visit UPSC official website http://www.upsc.gov.in.
Candidates are advised to take a print out of filled Detailed Application Form (DAF) online and duly signed by him / her send it to the UPSC, accompanied with relevant documents and prescribed fees wherever applicable. The UPSC portal has all the instructions for filling the DAF and further submission of it to the commission. Candidates may also hand deliver the filled form and documents till September 18 until 5 PM at UPSC counter. However submission of DAF does not mean right to appear in the Civil Services (Mains) Examination.
The admission certificate along with the time table of Civil Services (Mains) Examination will be available on the UPSC web portal for the eligible candidates to download, 2-3 weeks before the commencement of the Civil Services (Mains) Examination.
The UPSC has advised Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination candidates to not file any RTI plea seeking details of their marks and answer keys until entire process of Civil Services Examinations comprising Mains test and interview gets over. Candidates are also informed that marks, cut-off marks and answer keys of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2013 will be provided to them after declaration of final results.
The UPSC have facilitation counter near the examination hall building in its campus. Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their results on all working days between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM, in person from facilitation counter or on Tel no. 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125.
